FAQs

I’ve never done kickboxing before, will I be able to do this as a beginner?

No kickboxing experience is necessary, however, if you've never done kickboxing before, we recommend that you try our Sunday Intro to Bag class.  This class teaches you how to do basic movements to succeed in class.

I have done kickboxing before.  Do I have to take the intro to bag class?

No.  If you've done kickboxing that uses boxing gloves, you do not need to do an Intro to Bag class.  The Intro to Bag class helps the new student learn basic movements so that you are not overwhelmed or confused in class.

The Strength and Conditioning classes uses mostly bodyweight exercises.  It still has a kickboxing theme to the classes, but more bodyweight exercises such as pushups, squats, situps, combined with kicking and punching.  Bag Circuit classes, require boxing gloves and handwraps so that you can punch and kick an actual heavy bag.
