General Policies and Procedures for All Ultimate Fitness Kickboxing Classes
1. Sign-in at the front desk when you come in.
2. New students need to sign a fitness waiver prior to participation.
3. Be on time to warm-up. Proper warm-up is very important to prevent strained muscles and injury.
4. Bring a towel. For groundwork, a towel may be used as a floor mat. Also note that we have a men’s and women’s bathroom but do not have shower facilities.
5. You do not need shoes for this class. Our mats are specially made for martial arts training. Socks are fine, but they may cause your feet to slip around with risk of losing your balance and ground bearing.
6. How to maximize your workout: It’s very important to do your best to pay attention to the cues of the instructor at all times. This class is designed to be challenging and FUN. The intensity in your workout depends on you! Regular attendance and practicing improves your level of fitness, strength, coordination, and flexibility.
7. This is a non-contact class. You can expect basic boxing techniques, kickboxing, cardio conditioning, ab workout, plyometrics, and static/dynamic stretching using your own body weight.  You can expect kickboxing with a little boot camp style thrown into the mix.
